Seagrass Couple

The sand dunes here are a bit of an oddity, at least compared with the beach dunes I’ve seen elsewhere. They’re a mix of seagrass, burr-sprouting plants, wheat from the now-extinct farms that used to sprawl alongside them and a scattering of deciduous trees trying to spread their territory.  Though the locals have beaten tracks through this mess, the only real way to safely traverse the dunes is by taking manmade paths.

Unless you don’t mind digging prickly burrs out of your legs and feet!
